Coastal Ratepayers United Inc (CRU) is a broad based community group that has been effectively representing ratepayers in getting hazard lines removed from properties.

CRU has had amazing successes and had bad science overturned.
​
The fight continues as the Regional Council and the Government via Dept of Conservation, Ministry for Environment, NIWA, are making policy decisions that will affect everyone. So CRU needs to continue making strong representations.​
BECOME A MEMBER
CRU is funded entirely from the donations and annual fees paid by its members.
Your financial support is critical in our ongoing mission to protect the property rights of Kapiti's coastal ratepayers.
The annual membership fee is
$30 Per person (inc. GST).
​
The subscription year ends in October.
​
CRU also welcomes donations.
